ZIM Signs Agreement With G4techTV Canada for Internet TV

9 December 2006

ZIM Corporation (OTCBB: ZIMCF), a mobile entertainment and Internet TV service provider, today announced it has signed an agreement with G4techTV Canada for content broadcasting on Internet TV. Through ZIM's Internet TV (IPTV) network called "ZIMTV", consumers will now be able to watch past and upcoming episodes of the popular technology call-in show "Call for Help, with tech guru Leo Laporte".

"Call for Help" is a one-hour program designed to help people gain control of technology. The program covers computing and the wide array of new personal technology devices like mobile phones, digital cameras, MP3 players, home theatre, DV camcorders, and on and on. If it's got a chip in it, "Call for Help" covers it.

The popular show will be available in the pay per view section on www.zimtv.biz at a cost of $1.99 per episode or $9.99 per month subscription. ZIM will further expand the audience reach by making "Call for Help" available on ZIMTV.mobi, a mobile dedicated website which can be viewed by millions of mobile phones and PDAs worldwide.

Through a user friendly interface on ZIMTV, consumers can watch free and/or pay per view channels containing sports, movies, television, news, animation and educational video content.

"Broadcasting our programming on Internet TV is a great way to reach a new global audience and it gives our viewers the option to access 'Call for Help' anytime, anywhere. We are very excited about this partnership with ZIM to launch our content to a worldwide online audience," said Malcolm Dunlop, VP of Programming and Marketing, G4techTV Canada.

Dr. Michael Cowpland, President and CEO of ZIM said, "A key part of our strategy is to establish partnerships with the world's leading media providers and we're excited about having G4techTV Canada on board".

G4techTV, the host channel of "Call for Help", is Canada's first television channel 100% dedicated to technology, anime and video gaming - 7 days a week. G4techTV showcases how the latest trends, products, and events enhance our lives. G4techTV is currently available in more than 34 million households in the United States and Canada, as well as distributing content to more than 70 countries. G4techTV Canada is available on digital cable and satellite.

ZIMTV has an embedded digital rights management ("DRM") software that offers a secure solution for content providers as it limits the ability for end users to distribute, sell or pirate illegal copies of the content. Users of ZIMTV do not download video files on to their computer; rather the videos are streamed to their computers through the P2P infrastructure. "This is a great platform for G4techTV Canada to showcase their popular content to an even larger worldwide audience on our Internet TV network and to create new revenues and new customers from an existing product. It's a true win-win partnership", added Cowpland.
