Verizon SuperPages.com Provides Flashier Full- and Self-Service Small Business Web Design and Web Hosting
31 January 2006 Verizon SuperPages.com now provides flashier small business Web design and Web hosting with advanced features. Custom web site design and affordable Web site hosting can help a large or small business generate sales leads and give potential customers more information about products and services. SuperPages.com is the only Internet Yellow Pages to provide the full-service capability to help small businesses compete on the Internet.
"Plumbers and dentists are busy running their business and may not have time or the expertise to create and manage a Web site," said Robyn Rose, vice president -- Internet Marketing for Verizon SuperPages.com. "These business owners recognize the value of attracting online customers, however, and use our expertise to design high-quality, attractive Web sites at very reasonable rates."
Rates for custom Web site creation begin at $85 per hour with a two-hour minimum. Boutique agencies can charge thousands of dollars for a custom Web-development package. SuperPages.com not only develops the custom Web sites, but hosts them as well. It's one of a handful of Web development providers that prices a la carte based on the customers' needs.
SuperPages.com announced last summer that it would take over Web site management from Verizon's Online group. Now, it offers even more options in Web site design and hosting as Verizon's single source for Web hosting.
