TV Worldwide Live Webcast to Feature NAB Show Troop Support Efforts of 'Operation Interdependence' in Cooperation With International Webcasting Associ
19 April 2006 TV Worldwide (www.tvworldwide.com), theInternet's first TV network, announced that it would highlight the U.S.troop support efforts of Operation Interdependence (OI, www.oidelivers.org)during NAB2006, in a live webcast from the Las Vegas show, April 24-27 withthe assistance of webcasters from the International Webcasting Association(IWA, www.webcasters.org). The webcast from TV Worldwide booth C8805 willfeature a daily calendar of live programming highlighting video greetingsto the troops and show attendee events at the outdoor OperationInterdependence booth (OE323), while deploying the latest webcastingtechnology with reports on webcast industry activities at the show from theperspective of IWA members and interacting with webcast participantsworldwide via e-mail. For the last several years, TV Worldwide has workedwith Operation Interdependence on numerous high profile webcasts throughoutthe country, highlighting OI's renowned Civilian-to-Military care packagedistribution system including a fall 2005 webcast where OI and the IWAwebcasters worked on-line to utilize OI's system to deploy care packages toKatrina victims.
