SurfControl Makes Internet Threat Protection Fashionable in a Citrix Environment for DKNY

SurfControl Web Filter enables DKNY for the first time ever to track Internet usage down to the individual user level within the company's extensive Citrix environment. DKNY uses Citrix Presentation Server for centralizing the deployment and management of enterprise applications. Because each user accessing a Citrix server from a remote DKNY office is not identified by an individual IP address, the company was previously unable to easily enforce Internet acceptable use policies, monitor Web usage and create detailed usage reports on an individual basis. DKNY staff members also save time in the customization and updating of different policy configurations, accomplishing in a few simple mouse clicks the same tasks that previously took much longer.

Meisch concluded, "Our previous Web filter provider simply seemed to stop evolving to meet our changing needs. We always had to wait for the next version of the product to get the functionality we needed and then the product would be unstable. The reporting was nowhere near what SurfControl provides and overall, the system just seemed to make our job harder rather than easier.
