Redfern Services Launches Muevelo Magazine's Online Presence For Hispanics

Muévelo Magazine (www.muevelomagazine.com) is the ultimate lifestyle publication that addresses the needs and interests of young, savvy Hispanics. Month after Month, our Readers will journey through interesting, informative, and educational content on arts and entertainment, fashion and beauty, travel and living in a culturally relevant, yet exciting manner. Muévelo magazine is the guide to being empowered, inspired, proud, and ardently embracing Latin life. Muévelo magazine combines the fusion of Latin and American cultures. Muévelo's commitment and goal is to remain the single source for provocative, insightful, and engaging information essential to contemporary Hispanics.

The website is built around Redfern's Content Management System (CMS) and was designed by Redfern to match Muévelo's new corporate brand identity. Redfern custom built a next generation content management tool that allows Muévelo's marketing team to easily update and add content. As well as containing a graphical re-design, the project involved re-shaping the sites' information architecture in order to help users to find information more easily in what is a very information-heavy website. Muévelo's website has been re-designed utilizing css to define the actual structure and layout of the pages as well as the text formatting. This has made the site faster to view, accessible to all users and more attractive to search engines. Muévelo Magazine has Section 508 accessibility and compliance and for the handicapped.

Redfern developed the front-end look and feel of the site, the administrator for editing the content, the custom subscription flash, and all of back-end programming. The Redfern team developed the solution to automatically allocate sales for subscriptions to the magazine. As well as allocating orders, the system also links directly to Muevelo via XML in order to update distribution, collection and generation of shipping labels. Administrators can log into the system and manage the advertisers, clients and subscribers in real-time. With a continuous effort for on-line sales and promotion, Redfern Services will provide support, effective search engine optimization and branding to ensure the site's success.
