Prime Time Newspapers Partners with Classifieds2GO.com to Power Online Classifieds Sites for Four Publications
20 August 2005Classifieds2GO.com, which creates technologies that enhance print and online publications, announced it has signed a 2-year agreement with Prime Time Newspapers, which publishes 13 newspapers and magazines in and around San Antonio, TX.
Under the agreement, four of Prime Time Newspapers’ publications will implement Classifieds2GO.com’s web-based solutions on their websites. The San Antonio Herald News, the Southside Reporter, the Recorder Bargain Book and the Prime Time Military Newspapers will each launch powerful new interactive classifieds sites. These new local online classifieds centers will be composed of career, automotive, real estate, and merchandise ads generated by site visitors or advertisers of Prime Time Newspapers. These sites will provide an online employment source for finding better local candidates and jobs, as well as a forum for area buyers and sellers to speed the transaction process.
Gregg Rosenfield, CFO of Prime Time Newspapers, Inc., noted a need for publications to embrace the internet as an enormous opportunity. “We realized the future is now,” Rosenfield explains. “We saw our classifieds slipping away and had to look for a better alternative. Secure logins and credit card transactions will enable them to take advantage of these tools from anywhere, at any time, with or without the assistance of Prime Time’s staff.
