Peregrine Systems(R) CEO Joins Board of the Information Technology Association
26 February 2005Peregrine Systems (OTC: PRGN - News) announced today that John Mutch, its president and CEO, has been elected as a member of the Information Technology Association of America's (ITAA) Software Division board of directors.

Mutch joined Peregrine as a member of its board in March 2003 and became president and CEO in August 2003. He currently serves on Peregrine's board as a member of the Executive Committee. Previously, he was president and CEO of HNC Software until it was acquired by Fair Isaac in August 2002. From 1994 to 1997, Mutch was the founder and general partner of MVenture Holdings, Inc., a special situation private equity fund that invests in public and private technology companies. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Microsoft in sales and marketing executive positions. Mutch currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Overland Storage, Inc., and he is also an honorary board member of the Classroom of the Future Foundation.
