PeoplePC Introduces The Internet Security Pack

PeoplePC, a leading provider of high-quality, value-priced Internet service and subsidiary of EarthLink (Nasdaq: ELNK), today launched the PeoplePC Internet Security Pack an affordable, integrated suite of protection and security features that protects members' entire computers -- not just their email -- against viruses, spyware, and phishing. Existing PeoplePC members may log in to request an installation disc at http://www.peoplepc.com/securitypack/.

The PeoplePC Internet Security Pack is organized into easy-to-manage sections, which include PeoplePC's AntiVirus, Anti-Spyware, firewall protection and Anti-Phishing software. Its straight-forward interface and fast scan enable PeoplePC members to quickly manage and secure their machines.

"In the past, Internet security has translated into managing multiple, protection applications individually on a computer and an expensive price tag. With PeoplePC's Internet Security Pack, that's no longer the case," said Hilary Jensen, PeoplePC's vice president, product marketing. "Our Internet Security Pack enables consumers to replace a time-consuming and frustrating exercise with an affordable, easy-to-manage product suite that scans their systems for the latest online threats and nuisances in up to half the time it takes to scan using stand-alone anti-virus and spyware products."

The PeoplePC Internet Security Pack is available to PeoplePC Online "Security Plus" members free of charge. Other PeoplePC members can purchase the product for just $2 more per month, during the promotional period, ending April 30, 2006.

PeoplePC's Internet Security Pack is powered by Aluria Software, an EarthLink company and a leading provider of anti-spyware and desktop Internet protection solutions. System requirements include Microsoft(R) Windows(TM)- based PCs running Windows(TM) XP Home and Pro operating systems Service pack 2, an Intel(R) Pentium(R) 200 MHz or higher processor, 64MB of RAM and a 28.8 KBPS, or faster, modem.
