Mayweather vs. Gatti has Sports Betting World Buzzing

Arturo Gatti is a +340 dog in this coming Saturday's bout. After witnessing Kevin McBride decimate Iron Mike Tyson two weeks ago as a +800 dog, gamblers are becoming more and more confident when it comes to betting big dogs in boxing.

Floyd Mayweather by KO or TKO is listed at +275; Mayweather by decision is featured at +2.25. Arturo by KO or TKO is listed at +600 and +800 for decision.

In 1996, Arturo Gatti fought Wilson Rodriguez and after getting pummeled in the first round, Gatti went down in the second. He came back in the fifth, breaking Rodriguez's rib with a left hook, and knocking him out in the 6th.

Between 1997 and 2003, four of his fights were Ring magazine's "fight of the year." And he has been referred to as one of the greatest television fighters.
