Inter-Tel Chief Technology Officer Jeff Ford Featured Keynote Speaker at IT East Conference

Inter-Tel, Incorporated (Nasdaq: INTL), a leading provider of voice and data communications solutions for businesses, will be well represented at the upcoming Internet Telephony East Conference & Expo when four of its leading technologists are scheduled to present at the event. The Internet Telephony Expo and Conference is scheduled for January 24-27 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

"The Internet Telephony Conference and Expo is regarded as one of the top conferences in the country on Voice over IP and Internet Technology," noted Craig W. Rauchle, president and chief operating officer of Inter-Tel. Inter-Tel's participation in the show starts on January 24 at 1 p.m., when Scott Moule, general manager of Inter-Tel's Collaboration division, joins the panel discussion "Adding Video to Enhance the Collaboration Experience." At 2 p.m., Aron Aicard, a product manager who oversees both the Inter-Tel(R) 5000 and Inter-Tel Axxess(R) product lines, will teach a course on IP PBXs as part of the TMC University curriculum, which is held in conjunction with the conference.

Inter-Tel's Bart Delgado, managing director of Inter-Tel's contact center division, will participate on two panels on January 25. First is a session entitled "Benefits of VoIP in the Contact Center," scheduled for 10:15 a.m. At 2 p.m., Delgado will join the "IP Contact Center Shootout," where representatives from various manufacturers join a "no holds barred" discussion on the future of contact centers in an IP world.

Inter-Tel's chief technology officer, Jeff Ford, rounds out Inter-Tel's participation on Friday, January 27. Ford will participate in the roundtable discussion "Why SIP Will Dominate the Enterprise" at 8:30 a.m. At 11:30 a.m. Ford is scheduled to deliver a keynote address to all conference attendees. Ford is expected to share his vision of the future of Voice over IP, and the impact it is expected to have on enterprise communications.
