Dean Evans and Associates Announces EMS RoomWizard Integration
29 December 2004The integration will help companies improve communication and maximize room utilization by allowing events scheduled either in EMS or a RoomWizard to be displayed on the wall-mounted RoomWizard units outside meeting or conference rooms.
"RoomWizard by PolyVision is a unique product with state-of-the-art technology that makes room status information immediately available," says Dean Evans, president and CEO of Dean Evans & Associates. "With the trend in data management being toward a combination of centralized and distributed control, the pairing of our two products makes perfect sense and will provide users with the best of both worlds."
"One of our guiding product development principles is to support our users' existing work practices and we have achieved just that with the RoomWizard and EMS integration. EMS clients can use the software that they enjoy through EMS, while adding the ability to walk-up-and-schedule an impromptu meeting with the addition of a RoomWizard," said Mike Dunn, PolyVision president and CEO. "The outcome is increased meeting room utilization and time savings. We're excited at the opportunities this relationship will open for PolyVision and Dean Evans & Associates."
EMS systems are used to manage the many tasks required to host meetings and events, including the recording of a customer's initial inquiry and contact information, the booking of space, resources and services, the posting of event information to the Internet, and the generation and tracking of invoices. The flexibility of the many versions of EMS allow it to be used in virtually any type of facility, large or small.
"A number of our customers have expressed a need for a 'walk-up booking' type of tool," says Evans. "We're pleased to be able to help them meet their needs by entering into this relationship with PolyVision and releasing the EMS RoomWizard interface."
