Cittz.com Sells New York on the Internet

Born from a project developed by a group of friends for locating and identifying their personal web sites, blogs and e-mails in a virtual world, Cittz.com takes actual cities, such as New York, and transforms them into an advertising medium for products and services available on the Internet. The original innovative design turned into a virtual city, which then generated a modest version of what has now become Cittz.com.
"Come and get what you can. Cittz.com is open and has free access to anyone who wants to build a house and exhibit a website," says Reinaldo Azevedo, who came up with the idea for the website. Cittz.com welcomes visitors from all countries, and although it is currently only available in English, other languages will soon be added to the site.
Properties are the great differential, and while the site was launched only just recently, Cittz.com's audience has already reached 300,000 visitors a week. Once registered, any citizen can use their virtual address to reference an external site, making things much easier for those who want their web site to be linked to a physical address.
Cittz.com allows for total freedom; you can build within your property to suit your needs with very few restrictions. Users may access the system to edit their property using available images or customize their content by adding images of their own. Cittz.com is open to anyone in need of efficient and accessible online advertising for their services and products.
"We decided to use New York as the first city because it is a melting pot. We hope to shorten distances and help draw people closer to each other in that area," says Adriano Cunha, the engineer responsible for Cittz.com.
