AuctionWagon Inc Releases Second Generation of Proprietary eBay Consignment System to Public
25 June 2005AuctionWagon (www.auctionwagon.com), the world's first independent eBay consignment store, announced that it is releasing the second generation of its proprietary eBay consignment system Store Manager Pro to the public today at the eBay Live! 2005 convention in San Jose. This product will provide eBay consignment stores with an all-in-one solution for drop-off consignment.
The software package is the first to perform virtually all of the functions needed by an eBay consignment store, from printing contracts, barcodes, and inventory labels to managing inventory, payments, shipping, and check writing. Store Manager Pro G2 is also the first eBay consignment software to integrate photo editing as well as eBay questions.
“The release of Store Manager Pro G2 will dramatically improve the efficiency of drop-off stores, which previously had to rely on a hodge podge of tools not specifically designed for these stores,” said Joshua MacAdam, president of AuctionWagon. “The eBay consignment industry is growing rapidly, and we are pleased to provide stores with the tools to make them successful.”
Store Manager Pro G2 was created in the AuctionWagon drop-off store as a solution to the problems encountered in operating a retail store in a new industry. The product is the first software package specifically designed for eBay consignment stores written by an eBay consignment store.
eBay consignment is a rapidly growing industry, with industry estimates showing that these stores represented over 1.2% of eBay's total worldwide revenue in 2004, after just over one year of the industry's existence.
