Atlanta Homeless Families Benefit from Interactive Marketing

Prominent Placement, Inc., a leading Atlanta search engine optimization company, today announced that its co-principal, Matt Williams, will present a case study during the upcoming Atlanta Interactive Marketing Association educational series. The local event, titled “Winning the Popularity Contest: Search Engine Marketing Unleashed,” will be held on August 31 at 6:30 p.m. at the Georgia Tech GLCC in Atlanta.

Matt Williams partnered with Dr. Jacqueline Brown, executive director for the Atlanta Children’s Shelter, to develop the interactive marketing case study which will be presented by Dr. Brown. The Atlanta Children’s Shelter is a nonprofit agency whose mission is to provide loving, high-quality child development and support services for Atlanta homeless families striving for self-sufficiency.

Prominent Placement’s goal was to use search engine optimization to build awareness, communicate the Atlanta Children’s Shelter brand, and drive donations. Atlanta Children’s Shelter was literally invisible to the search engines prior to the project. Prominent Placement worked with the organization to restructure their website, optimize the website for search engines, and conduct a linking campaign. “With a 272 percent increase in website traffic from search engines, and a 617 percent increase in top three rankings in the search engines, we are extremely happy with the results,” said Matt Williams.
