ArielHost Rolls Out New Merchant Services, Launches Cardservice Kentucky Subsidiary
20 April 2006 Ariel Host LLC, a provider of web hosting, web site design, and merchant services, announced today that it is now offering several new services for online merchants, and it has launched a subsidiary company, Cardservice Kentucky.
The new merchant services include Voice over Internet Protocol telephony, which allows both small businesses and high-volume enterprise customers to take advantage of low international calling rates, low start-up costs, and a plethora of other advanced calling features.
«VoIP is a technology that has revolutionized the way many large companies communicate. There's no expensive equipment to buy, all systems are fully customizable by the end user, and overall, it is a much more cost effective solution that traditional landline telephones,» said Ariel Benzakein, ArielHost Chief Operating Officer.
Entry-level unlimited business VoIP plans start at $48.30 per month, and include Caller ID, Call Waiting, Call Transfers, 3-Way Calls, and free In-Network calling.
Other services now available include Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliance services, which enable online merchants to meet the security requirements of several major credit card companies, including Visa's CISP and MasterCard's SDP programs.
All shared web hosting customers receive ScanAlert's PCI Compliance scanning free of charge, and ArielHost offers ScanAlert's HackerSafe certification at discounted rates.
Cardservice Kentucky, an independent sales agent of Cardservice International, offers discounted online merchant accounts. Standard rates for Internet transactions are 2.39%, but rates vary based on volume and other factors.
