Redfern custom built a next generation content management tool that allows ACVB's marketing team to easily update and add content. In addition to the graphic re-design, the project involved re-shaping the sites' information architecture to help users find information more easily in the information-heavy website. ACVB's website utilizes cascading style sheets to define the actual structure and layout of the pages as well as the text formatting; the new formatting makes the site faster to view, accessible to all users and more attractive to search engines. Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau has Section 508 accessibility and compliance for the visually impaired.
Redfern developed the front-end look and feel of the site, the administrator for editing the content, the custom subscription flash, and all of back-end programming.
