AdZone Research Reports Contribution of Sponsors on Behalf of Southold, New York Police Department Will Help Provide Protection Against Internet Child

(OTCBB:ADZR) today reported that Eastern Breezes Real Estate and the accounting firm of Blanchfield, Meyer, Kober and Meyer have purchased AdZone OPPS licenses for the Southold, N.Y. Police Department to enable it to access data on AdZone's newly launched Online Predator Profiling System (OPPS). It has been designed to protect against child predators that frequent online chat rooms on the Internet.
"OPPS is the newest product application we have developed from our core technology that extends from tracking clandestine communication to targeting motion picture piracy, and now to profiling sexual predators that prey on our children," said John A. Cardona, AdZone's President & COO.
"OPPS is an around-the-clock tracking, storage, and data retrieval system of online chat rooms that the company has been specifically directed to monitor, by recognized law enforcement personnel, in an effort to profile online sexual predators. This information is comprised of the specific text, by user name, by chat room, by date, and by time of day," Cardona said.
Feedback from law enforcement agencies that have already had a chance to work with OPPS indicates it helps them in three ways. Arlington County, Virginia police said it is a time-saver for profiling the target. Maryland State Police identified how OPPS could be used in tracing missing children where the screen name is known. And Fairfax County, Virginia police officers, whose Internet monitoring efforts were showcased in the "Dateline NBC" episode about online predators, claim OPPS is exactly what is needed to check the history and build a large enough case to put these criminals away.
